Under Section 80 of Surrey’s Highway, Traffic and Parking Regulation By-law No. 13007, snow and ice clearing from adjacent sidewalks is the responsibility of the neighbouring property owner. City guidance directs residents and businesses to clear sidewalks next to their properties by 10:00 a.m. every day, avoid pushing snow onto public streets, and keep nearby storm drains clear where possible.
